 In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried to conduct combat reconnaissance near the village of Kochubeivka, but suffered losses and retreated. In the area of Izyum, the Russians try to continue offensive on Sloviansk.

The Ukrainian forces repulsed the enemy attack near Zolote, Luhansk region, according to the spokesman of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Oleksandr Motuzianyk.

In the Sumy direction, the Russian aviation launched strikes on the two settlements of the region.

The Ukrainian forces liberated the village of Dmytrivka in the Izyum district, Kharkiv region.

In the Severodonetsk direction, the Russian invaders launched air strikes on the Ukrainian positions near the towns of Syrotyne and Borivske. Near Syrotyne and Metiolkine, the Ukrainian warriors successfully repulsed the enemy assault. The enemy suffered losses and retreated to the previous positions. Near the villages of Berestove and Kodyma, the enemy also withdrew after suffering casualties.

Serhii Haidai, the Head of the Luhansk regional administration, reported on the heavy fights in the areas of Severodonetsk, Toshkivka and Zolote. The occupiers intensively shell Lysychansk.

In the Black Sea, the Ukrainian navy have sunk the Russian tugboat “Vasiliy Bekh” from the Black Sea Fleet with the Tor anti-aircraft missile system on board. According to the Ukrainian Naval Forces, the ship was hit while transporting the munitions, arms and personnel to the Snake Island.

In the morning, the Russians launched the missiles on Mykolaiv. It was reported by the city Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych. According to him, the residential houses were damaged. The emergency service, medics and municipal service work on the spot.

Today, the Russian missile hit the industrial area in the town of Pervomaiskyi, Kharkiv region. The critical infrastructure was ruined. One man was wounded, according to the Mayor Mykola Baksheiev.

At least 20 filtration camps and prisons work now on the occupied territory. It was stated by the Permanent Representative of Ukraine Yevhen Tsymbaliuk at the OSCE Council session.

In the South of Ukraine, the intensive training of the Counter-Admiral Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi Separate Marine Battalion is underway. The marines started adoption of the British Mastiff armored vehicles.

The US Defense Ministry reported that on June 1 the supply of the HIMARS MLRS to Ukraine started.

The Prime Minister of the UK Boris Johnson repeatedly visited Kyiv. During his meeting with President Zelenskyy, he offered the large-scale training program for the Ukrainian defenders. This course will be purposed for training of the Ukrainian warriors using the British army experience. It will be organized outside Ukraine with the involvement of the international partners. Each 120 days Britain will be able to train up to 10,000 Ukrainian military.

The European Commission agreed recommendation to give Ukraine the EU membership candidate’s status. It also delivered the plan of actions to Kyiv which is necessary to complete before negotiations on joining the EU.

According to the planned decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, on July 1 Ukraine will implement the visa regime for the Russia’s citizens entry.

The monuments damaged because of the Russian aggression will be restored with the help of the 3D-modelling. It was announced by the Uriadovyi Kurier [Governmental Courrier] newspaper. With the support of the Ministry of Culture of Latvia and the Riga Technical University, the group of the specialists arrived in the country.
